The village of Bishopsbourne lies in the Elham Valley, a beautiful area offering numerous walks and cycle tracks through the Kentish rural countryside. Many of these can be directly accessed from the village and we can recommend suitable routes for all abilities.
Our local pub, The Mermaid, is renowned for its hospitality and excellent local beer from Shepherd Neame. Hearty lunches are served daily except on Sunday.
Within a short drive or stroll, the neighbouring villages of Bridge, Pett Bottom and Kingston offer alternative choices of good dining.
